Meditation is allowing yourself to focus on releasing what you do not want like stress, tension, pain and aches, so that you can go into a state of less resistance by letting go of your daily stress and tension.
Releasing resistance of what you want, so that you can allow yourself to go to a relaxed state where you are allowing yourself to think or focus on the things that you want.
