Stress has been refered to as one of the “silent killer, as continuous exposure of high stress response on our body can lead to long lasting physical health issues such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, anxiety and depression. Stress can also cause infertility, accidents and suicides.

Stress used to be known as the fight and flight response, a protective mechanism that warned us of danger. The stress indicators are signs for us to run or fight. Better known as the fight or flight response or the stress response. Stress used at the right time help us increase our awareness and improves our physical responses.

However, excessive stress that are not managed well can lead to physical and emotional issues that need to be addressed.
