This breathing meditation script to overcome difficulty in breathing was personally developed for my dad who was having difficulty in breathing to help him smoothen his breathing process.

Close your eyes.

Silently say to yourself, I am here, I am safe, I am ready to heal.

Be still, breathe naturally, stay with me on this. If you have difficulty in breathing, it is still fine to listen, imagine and visualise, until you can do it precisely as mentioned here. But, for now, imagine and visualise each step of these healing that we are going to manifest.

So, for now, if you can do these steps and if not, simply by imagining and visualizing what I am going to say, is enough.

Now, breathe naturally, feel the air coming through your nostrils, moving towards the top of your head, travelling down to the end of your tail bone or spine, moving up and filling your chest and lungs, and the air coming out from your nostrils, One full cycle of breath

Filling up your physical body with life, with healing and with love. Each breath that you take and give, is an exchange of energy with the universe and space. The universe and space that heals and aspires life into your body. Thank your breath now, thank you for giving me healing and aspires life and energy into this body of mine.

Breath is life, breath is natural, breath is the source of our existence in this physical body.  Good or bad, healthy or not, we continue to need this breath to live.  We normally do it naturally, sometimes we take breathing for granted.  But, today, we want to give thanks to this breath of ours.

We breathe air, we breathe life into our body. Giving grace and gratitude to this breath, good or bad, easy or hard, we give thanks.

So, for now, we will simply focus on our breath, giving thanks and appreciation for the breath that is breathing life into this body.

Feel the breath going into your nostrils, moving towards the top of your head, travelling down to the end of your tail bone or spine, moving up and filling your chest and lungs, and the air coming out from your nostrils.

Feel the breath going into your nostrils, moving towards the top of your head, travelling down to the end of your tail bone or spine, cleaning and healing your body, moving up and filling your chest and lungs, and the air coming out from your nostrils.  Feel the healing breath.  The breath cleaning and healing your body.

This very breath, is the breath of healing.  Healing the body and mind. 

When you breathe, allow the breath to heal your body, your chest, your lungs, your nerves, your muscles, your bones and every cells of your body, back into good health again.

Feel the breath going into your nostrils, moving towards the top of your head, travelling down to the end of your spine, moving up and filling your chest and lungs, and the air coming out from your nostrils. Feel the healing breath, the breath cleansing and healing your body.
