As a human being, it is our human rights to just be. However, that is not what the people and society around us has taught us to be.
Since young, we have been trained and brainwashed to work for what we want. We must put in effort and hard work to achieve the dreams that we want. Effort and hard work are characteristics that are being looked up to. When you put in much effort and hard work, you will be able to achieve what you want.
And so that is what we were made to believe. Is this true?
Work Hard
Many of us work and put in long hours of work into our life. We were taught to work hard to get good grades in school. When we graduate, we were taught to get a good job. When we found the job that pays us well, we work hard and long hours in the job to bring home the bread for the family.
We are expected to work and earn our keeps as a human being in today’s society and age. Doing nothing is fawned upon. But, what is really doing nothing?
What is Your Intention
What is your intention as a human being. Everyone of us wants to achieve happiness and good health. And yet many of us are struggling to keep our worth. We struggle to be happy, working hard, so that we can provide a good place for the family. Many of us do not even like the work that we do, but is merely going through the motion in order to put bread on the table. We struggle to maintain good health as we put in the long hours of hard work and forget about how to just be.
What is your intention today? If you want to achieve happiness and health, where should you start? What should you do? What if we take time for ourselves today, just be, doing nothing!
That must be an absurd statement for many of us. What do you mean by taking time for ourselves and just be? Doing nothing? But, I have so much work and things that I need to accomplish and complete by today!
Achieve Everything
Hard work will get you this far, but smart moves will help you achieve everything.
Set your intention to relax today. Relaxing not just your physical body, but also your mental mind. Take some time to close your eyes and focus on yourself today. Take time off to relax and recuperate. Take time today to relax and heal, to remove any physical pain or stress that you have been feeling in your body and mind.
